I began playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager in New England, inspired by a Glen Campbell appearance on TV. While in high school a few classmates and I formed a band we named Purple Haze, much to our parents alarm. Our set list included popular songs of the day like House of the Rising Sun, Who'll Stop the Rain, and Proud Mary. Spoiler alert, I didn't go on to rock stardom, but pursued other creative and entrepreneurial ventures including photography, a video production company, and ultimately an Internet start-up.
But my love of music and its power to touch people has always stayed with me. I enjoy infusing Jazz styling with a Blues ethos, and writing lyrics that explore human experiences we all can relate to.
A big thanks to my good friend and past business partner Bill (William Delray Floyd), who inspired me to pick up the guitar again.
